Trka oko Grčke 2011 - 3.etapa
Treća etapa trke oko Grčke završen je u poznatom antičkom proročištu Delfiju. No niko nije mogao da predvidi ovakav razvoj situacije. Prvo da sprinter pobedi etapu sa ciljem na usponu a onda i to da će naši momci imati toliko loše sreće.
Pobedu je odneo Nemac Štefan Šafer iz Bradenburške ekipe LTK. Profil etape i pobednik, možda bi rekli da se ne uklapaju, jer je Nemac izraziti sprinter. Prošle godine na Trci kroz Srbiju popeo se tri puta na postolje po ravnim etapama. Prvi u Vranju, drugi u Vrnjačkoj Banji i trći u Zaječaru.
Biciklisti iz Srbije, u okviru tri ekipe, odvezli su agresivno i ovu etapu, ali zaista nisu imali sreće na kraju.
Der Žolt je u poslednjim metrima trke doživeo težak pad u kome je nažalost polomio lakat. Sudije su mu posle ovog pada dodelile vreme grupe, pa je u generalnom plasmanu posle treće etape zauzimao sedmo mesto. Nažalost posle ovog preloma državni prvak Srbije nije mogao da nastavi današnju četvrtu etapu, a i dalja sezona za momka iz kragujevačkog Radničkog dovedena je ozbiljno u pitanje.
Trku je obeležio beg dana od 8 vozača među kojima su bili i Kasa, Jovanović i Šmelcerović. Zahvaljujući pobedama na dva brdska cilja, mladi Subotičanin, Gabor Kasa, iz turske Manisaspor ekipe, preuzeo je crvenu majicu i vođstvo u plasmanu brdskih vozača.
"Danas je bio dobar dan za našu ekipu jer sada imamo dve majice. Pokušaću da je sačuvam, ali sam veoma umoran posle ove etape. Šone i Šmelc su odlično radili dok smo bili u begu. Poslednje brdo nije bilo toliko teško, ali sam bio umoran od prethodnih kilometara. Nisam video kada je Žolt pao jer sam se tada već nalazio pozadi" izjavio je za BiciSvet Gabor Kasa.
U plasmanu za zelenu majicu Ivan Stević vodi veliku borbu sa trenutnim vlasnikom Podgornikom iz Manisaspor ekipe, od koga ga trenutno deli samo 2 boda.
